Summer is over and autumn has started to appear at its best, with beautiful late summer weather! We are happy to be able to open up each place little by little. Adapting to the time we are in to the best of our ability and opening up slowly and steadily. Now that Kranen is opening again on 2nd September, all of our places are open with fixed opening hours!

Colonialen Litteraturhuset is a bustling café and brasserie located on Østre Skostredet, offering an informal restaurant experience with a charming and rustic atmosphere.

Our chefs make the best classics! The dishes that one never gets tired of like; mussels, fish on the bone, king crab pasta, Norwegian rhubarb tart and more!  The classics are inspired by Nordic and European traditions, complemented by a rich selection of wine served by knowledgeable sommeliers.
